NOODLES CUTLET

Hi Everyone.. Hope ur week is good.. My days are going super fast just with the thought of Ramadhan starting next month.. well, it is considered the holy month and all your prayers are to be answered , if God wills..  U could imagine.. why I am so looking forward to it :)
Lot of ground to cover :))

I was wondering to host a event for a while.. I think now is just the perfect time to start one.. As I could solely benefit from the harvest.. Ramadhan is a time when I don't try new recipes, I just stick to "Tried and Tested" ones.. We want good , tasty food when we break the fast each day.. So, I was wondering if u guys would add ur experience to my table this year.. Hope you all will really support with my very first event and trigger my energy to even host any in the future.. :)

And of course the theme is food.. I haven't picked a name yet.. Event will be live on first day of Ramadhan.. Just giving u all a heads up.. :)

Now lets get to this recipe.. I came across this innovative recipe in Srav's Culinary Concepts . I bookmarked it right away but did take a while to try my hands on it.. very busy :)
I was so impressed with the results.. so appetizing, filling.. it could almost be served as a breakfast.. And of course I personalized it to my taste.. well guys, what can I say.. u just have to try em' to taste em' .

Ingredients

Maggi - 1/2 cake
Carrot - 1 no.
Potato - 1 [small]
Onion - 1 no. [small]
Green Chilli - 1 no.
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1tsp
Coriander Leaves - little
Salt - as required
Cooking Spray

Preparation
  • Boil 1/2 cake noodle until cooked and drain and keep aside.
  • Boil potatoes until soft, peel skin and mash.
  • Grate carrot, chop onions, green chillies,
    and coriander leaves finely.
  • Take a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well ..
  • Check for salt and any lumps..
  • Heat a frying pan and use cooking spray to moisten the vessel..
  • Make medium sized balls and flatten them.. fry in the pan both sides until crispy brown on the outside..

Tips & Tricks

1) Use cooking spray when u turn the cutlets each side.. U don't want them to stick to the vessel..
2) Can add any vegetable of ur choice..

And these delicious cutlets are on its way to

Thank you so much Mehjabeen for taking a look at my recipes & for all your lovely comments. As for your query regarding cake flour, it is slightly different from all-purpose flour. Good for cakes & cookies for tender and delicate texture. As it is not easily available here, I used all-purpose flour. To substitute it, use ( 1 cup minus 2 tbsp ) of all-purpose flour. Hope this helps :)
